Lenovo has announced ThinkVision L200p Wide 20 Inch, a monitor that have EPEAT Gold rate. This is Lenovo’s 10th monitor to achieve this desirable designation.
EPEAT, or “Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool,” is one of the most highly sought environmental designations in the technology industry. EPEAT’s “Gold” designation means that the manufacturer has risen to that organization’s highest plateau of environmentally responsible efforts.
The latest EPEAT Gold addition to the line up is the 20” ThinkVision L200p Wide performance monitor which uses a 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) resolution panel, with 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 5ms response time, and has a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2. As part of the performance range it has both DVI and VGA interfaces with HDCP support as well as a performance stand which allows the monitor to be swivelled, tilted, pivoted and for the height to be adjusted up and down by 110mm.
To achieve EPEAT Gold the L200p Wide had to adhere to 23 “must have” criteria involving eliminating environmentally harmful materials, energy conservation, product longevity, performance and more; plus 75% of various optional criteria such as using greater than 25% recycled plastics. As well as achieving EPEAT Gold, the L200p Wide complies with EnergyStar 4.1 and TCO 03, via HardwareZone.
